Hofung Technology signs urea granulation project contract with Henan Jinkai Group

On March 26 of 2010, Hofung Technology signed a contract with Henan Jinkai Chemical Industry Investment Holding Group for a 1345t/d urea granulation project. For this project Hofung Technology will provide the process design package, critical equipment (granulator lower casing) and all related technical services.

In its urea granulation plant the client will adopt an innovative production process and a new type of spraying system developed by Hofung Technology, as well as other patented technology.

To ensure fair proceedings, the Jinkai Group invited three world leading urea granulation technology licensors to participate in the bid for this project. After many months of technical research, reference inspections and comparing commercial conditions, the bid was finally awarded to Hofung Technology.

The kick-off meeting for the project was already held at the offices of Wuhuan Engineering Company, and currently the work on the process design package has been started. The plant is expected to become operational around 2013.
