Schoeller-Bleckmann Nitec GmbH (SBN) wins equipment contract for 520 KTPA Huashan Chemical Group urea project

After a week of negotiations, SBN won the contract for supplying proprietary equipments for the 520 KTPA urea project of Shaanxi Huashan Chemical Group on December 23, 2009. Under this contract SBN will supply all the proprietary equipments to 520 KTPA urea project of Shaanxi Huashan Chemical Group, covering Safurex® high-pressure equipments including Poolreactor, Stripper and Scrubber, and radar level measurement devices and N/C ratio metering system etc.

SBN is a world-leading manufacturer of high pressure equipment in the fields of urea and synthetic ammonia, and has a prominent position in the Chinese market for this type of equipment. Earlier successes of SBN in China were to manufacture high pressure equipments for most of the 13 sets of urea plants imported in the early days with CO2 stripping process. And during recent years SBN has also manufactured high pressure urea equipments for such projects as Yuntianhua Hulunbuir Jinxin, Erdos Unichem International, Chongqing Jianfeng, the second phase of China Bluechemical, Yuntianhua Shuifu and Petrochina Urumqi and Ningxia etc.
